Numerous Canadian codes, including the structural steel code S16.1, requires all welding fabricators to be certified to the requirements of CSA W47.1.  This code mandates the certified fabricator to either have on staff a full-time engineer or retain a professional engineer.  Zeus Engineering Ltd. has been approved by the Canadian Welding Bureau and has been retained as a professional engineer by numerous fabricators for the purpose of satisfying this requirement and providing guidance in the area of weld processes and procedures.  Our engineers have also been retained by fabricators for the purpose of certification to CSA W186 for the welding of reinforced steel.
