Design of Lifting Devices
Zeus Engineering Ltd. has been involved in the design, modification and fabrication of lifting arrangements since it's incorporation sixteen years ago.  Our designs have included overhead crane installations (up to 20 Tons), jib cranes, boom attachments, manlifts, spreader and transfer bars as well as other below-the-hook devices.  Our work also includes the determination of the safe working capacity for existing cranes and lifting devices.
A bungee operator required a multi-person manbasket for use as a crane suspended platform.  The resulting design by Zeus Engineering Ltd. incorporated included a number of safety features including multiple lanyard attachments and redundant suspension.
A client in the paper industry had previously been handling paper rolls with a through-shaft and spreader bar lifting arrangement.  The design of the shown C-hook device by Zeus Engineering Ltd. increased both the safety and the productivity at the plant.  Zeus Engineering Ltd. has years of experience in the design of below-the-hook devices, attachments and spreader bars.
During the decommissioning of a plant, a large heavy walled vertical vessel needed to be lowered for transportation and removal.  Zeus engineering Ltd. designed a lifting arrangement that used the existing bolt pattern on the vessel head that allowed for the safe lowering of the vessel.
